Janeth Mendoza, a student at SIATech in Los Angeles, was born in Tijuana, Mexico in 1990. She went to school from kindergarten to high school, and worked in the U.S. and Mexico as a data entry clerk. She is interested in themes of social importance, her favorites subjects being history and religious studies.
Her mother was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, but now lives in Tijuana. She attended school until high school in her city. At the same time, she studied for a technical career in Office Administration. Janeth notes that Americans are very permissive and flexible, nothing they are often open-minded whereas Mexicans usually are traditionalists and resistant to change.
Although Janeth also shares American nationality, it was not until March of 2011 that she decided to reside in the United States. She feels strong and confident, and through hard work and persistence, she will achieve her high school diploma.
