Bayshore Preparatory

Bayshore Preparatory Charter School Executive Director Nancy Spencer announced this week that the school has exceeded all expectations and increased its Academic Performance Index (API) score by a record 65 points. API scores for California were released to the general public last week in the 2010-11 Accountability Progress Report. While scores were up across the state, Bayshore’s increase from last year’s score of 685 to this year’s 750 is a great accomplishment.

This year’s API increase comes as no surprise to those who were working to improve all aspects of the educational program at Bayshore. The school’s staff and governing board would like to attribute this increase in API score to the improved, rigorous curriculum and also the hard work and dedication of all those involved. Having received full WASC accreditation this past year, Bayshore is poised to take the next step forward with everything in place for the upcoming school year.

Bayshore Preparatory Charter School is a tuition-free California Charter School, serving grades K-12. Bayshore adheres to a Personalized Learning model of education that is tailored to the needs of each individual student.
